Jaclyn Hill released new lipsticks and some customers say they've received items with "fibres", "bumps", and other defects.

Jaclyn Hill has come under fire this week, following drama surrounding lipsticks from her new Jaclyn Cosmetics beauty range.

The popular beauty guru has nearly 6 million subscribers on YouTube and recently introduced Jaclyn Cosmetics in a 35 minute video. Unfortunately, some customers who bought lipsticks from the collection say they have received items with "fibres" and/or "bumps". Buyers have even shared pictures of what they say are the lipsticks in question.

Beauty YouTuber RawBeautyKristi spoke out about her experience purchasing and inspecting the lipsticks, revealing in her review that she did not feel comfortable trying the lipsticks on her mouth.

Kristi also shared a microscopic view of the Jaclyn Cosmetics lipsticks, which certainly speaks to the "fibres" and "bumps" others have been reporting.

People have since shared photographs of the Jaclyn Cosmetics lipsticks they received and shared their own experiences.

Jaclyn addressed the drama on Twitter, explaining that the fibres were due to "white gloves" used in quality control.

The beauty guru also apologised and confirmed that people who are unsatisfied with their product should contact her team at help@jaclyncosmetics.com for a full refund.

People have plenty of theories about what's going on with the lipsticks. Meanwhile, Twitter is reacting to the drama in typical Twitter fashion.

Fans hope that the beauty guru will make a video explaining the situation to her customers and supporters. She has not yet, but we'll keep you updated if and when she does.
