The Kids Choice Awards have not been without controversy and here we explain why people are getting seriously angry about one of the winners.

Let's be real, we can all get a little crazy and overly passionate when it comes to our faves, and it can be pretty heartbreaking when they don't get the credit we think they deserve. So it makes sense that some of Jacob Sartorius' most dedicated fans are getting seriously mad about the recent Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.

Jacob was nominated for Fave Viral Music Star alongside other young things like JoJo Siwa, troublesome little Matty B, Carson Leuders, Tiffany Alvord and  Johnny Orlando. As he has the most social media followers, it seemed pretty safe to say that Jacob would walk away with the title after fans voted for him online.

Kids Choice Awards Controversy

However, those of you who are familiar with the Teen Choice Awards know this isn't always the case. As a result, JoJo Siwa won the aware and Jacob's fans are seriously p*ssed - even suggesting JoJo paid money so she could win the prize.

JoJo Siwa from Dance Moms Clearly, JoJo and her bow aren't bothered about the drama. Slay, girl!

If you followed previous controversy surrounding the Teen Choice Awards, you'll know that a whole host of your faves refused to attend thanks to the small print Nickelodeon put in place which states that, no matter how many votes someone gets online, the company can pick and choose who wins in the end. This appears to have been the case in this instance.

Nickelodeon recently signed JoJo and are now in charge of her managing her merchandise and live events so it makes upmost sense they'd want their own talent to scoop the prize and get some more publicity.
