Fans have accused Jake of racism following his comments.

Jake Paul has been accused of racism, after making a terrorism joke to a Kazakhstani fan in a recent video upload.

Yesterday, Jake uploaded a video called "Self Driving Tesla In Drive Thru Prank (Freakouts)". 11:45 into the video, a fan approaches Jake's car and asks to be featured on his vlog. When he tells Jake that he's from Khasakstan, Jake replies "It just sounds like you're going to blow someone up."

"You're like, "send the nuke!" he adds.

People took to Twitter to denounce Jake's joke, which many have described as "racist".

"Imagine calling someone a terrorist when you're the one terrifying people with you lack of education and immaturity," wrote one person; while another called out others who were in the car when Jake made the joke, but didn't correct him.

Soon after, people began unearthing more old tweets from Jake in which he uses racist and homophobic language.

The tweets are from 2012, when Jake was 15 years old. In one tweet, he calls someone "my n*gga".

Jake is yet to comment on either the comments made in his recent video or his past tweets.

Jake Paul's "racist" joke is one of a string of controversies to hit the YouTuber in recent weeks.

On 18th July, Jake received negative media attention; after residents from his West Hollywood neighbourhood told a news organisation that Jake had turned the community into a "war zone", by pulling pranks along with the rest of the Team 10 gang. Four days later, Disney announced that Jake would be leaving "Bizaardvark" - a Disney Channel show he had starred in since 2016. While Jake said that the decision to leave was "mutual", it had been speculated that his departure was linked to negative publicity.
