Is this the beginning of the end for Team Gleam?
Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee have left management company Gleam Futures, it has been announced. They have been with the company for three years and were two of Gleam's most well-known clients.
In a joint statement to the press, Sugg and Lee say,
“we’ve enjoyed our three years working with Gleam and we’re very thankful for their support and we wish them all the best. With the creator platform constantly evolving we have decided to fully immerse ourselves in a new business venture which will be announced in the coming weeks. We're excited to share the next chapter in our careers”
Gleam has some of YouTube's biggest creators on its books - including Joe's sister Zoe Sugg (maybe you've heard of her). There's no word yet on whether she will follow her brother away from Gleam.
What is this 'new venture'?
As you can see, they have announced that they are working on a 'new business venture' which will be announced 'in the coming weeks'. Exactly what form this venture will take is not known at this time, but we will let you know as soon as more details emerge. We do know what they seem to be working with Charnley Communications, which boasts creators like Oli White and Em Ford on their books.
