Rest in peace
John Bain, also known as 'TotalBiscuit' has died at the age 33, after a long battle with cancer.
John was known as a YouTuber and game critic, with millions of fans around the world. Earlier this year, he revealed that his cancer had worsened and his liver was failing, in a way that could not be cured.
In a recent statement, he said that "obviously we're going to keep looking for other trials but I'm currently coming to terms with the fact that I don't have long left and right now at any rate, there is literally nothing I can do about it other than try to manage the pain as best as possible and stay as hydrated as possible to ease the pressure on the liver."
John rose to prominence in 2010 when he started uploading gameplay videos and game reviews to YouTube. He was known for being fiercely opinionated and for calling out what he perceived to be issues in the games industry. His wife Genna posted a tribute to John on Twitter:
