Jordan Hanz is a portrait painter turned make-up artist from Virginia who, to date, has over 56,000 subscribers. Until earlier this month, her channel had featured impressive beauty transformation tutorials but Amber Rose provided some unlikely inspiration which has seen Hanz produce one of the most powerful videos of 2015.
"Unattainable Woman" explores the negative labels women face on a day-to-day basis. In the video, Jordan explores everything from menstrual cycles to make-up, body size and rape. She paints the stereotypes and painful comments on her body to help show the pain and hurt millions of women face around the world as they try to fit ideals.
In the latter half of the video, Jordan shuns these unattainable stereotypes and wipes clean her body.
It's powerful and emotive. If you watch one thing this week, this needs to be it.
