A shocking tale evolved overnight regarding British fashion vlogger Marina Joyce. Trending worldwide, a story emerged claiming the young YouTuber had been kidnapped and forced to star in a series of videos by her abductor. A video uploaded to Marina's channel a few days ago called "Date Outfit Ideas' apparently sees the 19 year old whisper "help me" and a mysterious finger appear which people believe could be that of an abductor.

The video, which has had over 2 million views to date, shows Marina Joyce twirling in a lolita style dress with apparent bruises and "rope marks" showing up on her arms and legs.

Concern grew even further when Marina seemingly arranged a meet up in Bethnal Green Gardens, London, for 630am.

Whilst Marina's tweets seemingly signify the meet up was due to take place on the 3rd of August, rumours spread like wildfire on social media that the meet up was due to take place today (Wednesday 27th July)

People around the world urged fans of the star not to attend the meet up, with reports circulating that Islamic extremist group ISIS could even be using Marina as a lure to a location to conduct a terrorist attack.

YouTubers including Alfie Deyes, Em Ford and even Sam Pepper all tweeted about the issue with Sam claiming Marina needed help for a "serious drug problem".

Despite a fake news story from Buzzfeed Community claiming she'd been found dead in Bethnal Green, we can confirm that Marina Joyce is safe and well. Enfield Police have visited her home and clarified her safety, having tweeted the news earlier this morning.

Some claim that the lack of a verified badge on Twitter means the account is fake, however we can confirm it's linked to the official Enfield Police website where the story will no doubt be updated.

Marina herself has also RT'd a tweet from Emma Blackery seemingly supporting claims she's safe and well.
