Olivia Jade hadn't posted to social media since March.

Olivia Jade has posted to Instagram for the first time following the college admissions scandal.

In case you need a refresher, Olivia Jade - a YouTuber and influencer with almost 2 million subscribers - was involved in the co-called US college admissions scandal earlier this year. Her parents, actor Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, allegedly paid a college admissions scammmer $500,000 to get Olivia and her sister Bella admitted into the University of Southern California.

Though her parents have pleaded not guilty to the charges, Olivia and Bella’s status as students at the university is still unconfirmed.

Since the news broke in March, Olivia Jade has been keeping a low profile, but she returned to Instagram on Monday to offer birthday wishes to her mother. Posting an old photo of her and Lori together, Olivia wrote: “one day late. happy birthday. i love you so much”.

Her sister, Bella Giannulli, posted a similar post, writing “happy birthday mama. I love you” on a photo of her and her mother.

The scandal has caused Olivia to lose sponsorship deals with brands such as Sephora and Estee Lauder and her relationship with her parents has reportedly been strained since.

But with her first post since it happened, it looks like she’s wanting to put it all behind her.
