SourceFed is dead, long live The Valleyfolk!

The original SourceFed team have reunited for a brand new web show. Elliott Morgan, Joe Bereta, Lee Newton, and Steve Zaragoza have announced that they will be joining forces once again on a brand new news project called The Valleyfolk.

The Valleyfolk will include both a YouTube channel and a podcast and will be funded through a Patreon. On their Patreon page they explain their move as follows:

"This isn't SourceFed. It's not a sketch channel. It's not even just a channel. It's far more ambitious: it's an opportunity for us to work with one another, and others, to bring you first a weekly show and a podcast, and then whatever the heck else we (and you!) want. We believe that when it comes to entertainment, we are the best team for the job, so consider this our hail mary job application."

The team seems to have made the right move by relying on fans for support, as they have already amassed nearly 4,000 patrons (at the time of writing).

What is SourceFed and why did it shut down?

SourceFed was an extremely popular YouTube news show that started in 2012. The original line-up slowly changed as members left, and in the end the show's inability to hold onto hosts was one of the reasons it was shut down in 2017, much to the dismay of fans.

Now fans have something new to get hyped about. You can see their full announcement video here:
