Felix Kjellberg has had a pretty rough 2017 so far. After being called out by the Wall Street Journal for supposedly being Anti-Semitic and being dropped by his network, Disney, the final knife in the back was eventually having his second season of Scare PewDiePie cancelled before release. However, it looks like he's just devised a new plan to leak the show... if he gets 100,000 retweets.
On his Twitter account, PewDiePie reminded fans that on the 9th of March, his cancelled YouTube Red show was supposed to go live. The show would see him and JackSepticEye (in addition to dozens of other talented creators such as CinnamonToastKen and Ethan Klein) go face to face in a series of horrifying challenges. Now that the season has been cancelled, both Felix and Jack have reflected on how awful it is that the show will never see the light of day.
Only a day later, Felix replied to this original message with a new one, challenging his fanbase to supercharge their efforts to make his YouTube Red finally a reality for everyone: "If this gets 100k RT's I'll leak the show". Whilst, at the time of writing, Felix has not quite reached his target, within an hour of posting this tweet alone he had managed to gain over 20,000 retweets, meaning that PewDiePie may be onto a victory here.
We don't know the logistics of this outcome, or if it's even possible for Felix to leak the show, but his call to action is still live on his Twitter account. We'll keep you updated if Felix talks again on this topic or if, y'know, the show is actually leaked!
Let us know in the comments below if you believe Felix will actually leak his YouTube Red show, or if this is just another elaborate (and rather public) "f*ck you" you to Disney and YouTube.
