Here's Why PewDiePie Will NOT Delete His YouTube Channel Today

We've got all the deets.
Just in case you missed all the hysteria yesterday, let us break it down for you real quick. First of all, about 9.36pm (GMT) last night, PewDiePie finally hit 50 million subscribers. While this milestone would be astronomical for any other creator on the platform, it's been surrounded with fear and mystery as to whether Felix will now go through with his promise and delete the channel. We're here today to say he won't... or at least not for another 48 hours.
After hitting the 50 million target, Felix tweeted the following out to his Twitter audience about 30 minutes after we had all been sat nervously twiddling our thumbs and refreshing his YouTube channel. He made it clear he "will delete tomorrow 5pm gmt". Almost immediately the tweet gained thousands of retweets, as the Bro Army felt the end of an era suddenly dawn upon them.
It's funny that Felix picked such a time to delete his channel, judging that only 60 minutes later (or at 6pm GMT if you want to be specific) he will be hosting the very first of his charity live streams for his YouTube network, Revelmode. With the likes of Markiplier and JackSepticEye flying in to Brighton solely to star in the four-hour, two-day CRINGEMAS spectacular, we highly doubt Felix will delete such a huge channel on the eve on an event in which he's raising money for AIDS awareness.
Some people are speculating that the live streams will happen and that Felix will potentially use the stream to announce his brand new channel, but if we all assume that Revelmode HAVE to continue on with their live broadcast, the earliest Felix will delete his PewDiePie channel will be 10.01 GMT.
