Robot extraordinaire Simone Giertz turns the lovable Kermit into a incompetent crawling Jenna Marbles robot dog monster. We want one as a pet.
It's not every day we get to tell a story that has "Jenna Marbles Robot Dog" as a concept, but thanks to questionable robot extraordinaire Simone Giertz, our lucky day has come. After getting a shoutout from the one and only Jenna, Simone decided to pay tribute to her new YouTube friend in the most Simone way ever - taking a plush toy of Jenna's dog Kermit and turning it into a terrifying robot dog pal.
Same, Robo-Kermit. Same.
Using tech from Arrow Electronics, Simone turns the previously immobile toy Kermit into an equally immobile but more twitchy Meccano nightmare demon, that apparently "walks", "eats food", and "doesn't invade your dreams at night". It's almost cute though.
"This is probably the sh*ttiest project I've ever built, just construction-wise," admits Simone. "I pictured it at least being able to walk forward".
At least her hard work paid off: Jenna's appreciation of the Robo-Kermit merited Simone another shoutout, and probably an awesome new friend.
Honestly exactly how he walks I see no difference. https://t.co/aQ0AbrCahz— Jenna ♍️arbles (@Jenna_Marbles) September 6, 2016
We can't wait to see what robot-based shenanigans these two get up to in future!
