Pregnant British YouTuber Sophie Emma Rose tragically died in an accident in Thailand.

Pregnant British YouTuber Sophie Emma Rose has died in a horrific scooter accident in Thailand; where she lived with boyfriend Danny Glass and her five year old son. The 41 year-old was known for her channel Sophie's Joy Breastfeeding Mama, which had over 30,000 followers and documented her parenting journey and campaign to normalise breastfeeding.

Sophie is most well-known for making headlines after discussing why she wants to breastfeed her five year-old son until he turned 8. She would upload vlogs of her breastfeeding her son in order to help break the stigma.

Sophie's final upload on her main channel was on 27th April 2017; where she discussed changes to her body during her pregnancy, and spoke about what her current pregnancy experience is like. On her second channel, Sophie's Joy Family Vlog, she uploaded a video of a family visit to Phuket on Sunday 7th May.

The YouTuber was tragically killed the following day in Phuket, when she was hit by a 18-wheel lorry whilst travelling on the back of her boyfriend's scooter. Sophie was crushed to death, ending her life and that of her unborn child; while her boyfriend escaped with minor injuries.

Sophie's heartbroken boyfriend Danny, 29, has since uploaded a video on his own channel.

Danny talks about his loss, as well as having to explain to son Shaye that his mother has died.

"I miss her so much... Somebody wake me up from this nightmare. I can't believe it's even happening,"says Danny through tears. "She's meant to be having my baby in three months... She meant the world to me and I meant the world to her."

"The person I feel sorry for the most is Shaye, who is five years old, and I had to explain to him that his mum was dead and that she isn't coming back."
