Congratulations to the entirety of #TeamInternet!

We've been building up to one of the greatest nights in the calendar for months now (no joke, we first started writing about this evening back at the beginning of February!), but now the washing machine is on and our feet our well and truly resting because we're finished with the Glamour Women of the Year Awards for a another year. But clearly, one little moment out of the whole ceremony made us officially cheer, whoop and holler the loudest... because Tanya Burr won the award for the Manuka Doctor YouTuber of the Year!

Presented to her by the ever stunning Kourtney Kardashian, Tanya made #TeamInternet history by winning the very first YouTuber-specific award presented in the entire Women of the Year ceremony. Over the past 13 years, YouTubers have been invited to the event but were crammed into strange little categories here and there. But for 2016, they had their very own category and tbh, the competition was so tough as Tanya was up against some of the loveliest and most inspiring women on the planet including Louise Pentland, Zoe Sugg, Michelle Phan and Victoria MacGrath.

Accepting her award for the Manuka Doctor YouTuber of the Year, Mrs Burr had some inspiring words for other women out there working hard to make a living and achieve their dreams; "I just want all girls to know if you dream big and work hard, anything can happen". We hope that when Glamour and the mainstream media see the huge surge of support and love Tanya has now received from her fanbase following her win, they will officially realise that #TeamInternet is not just a tag-on category, but a powerful collection of talented digital creators that deserve far more recognition.

Tanya wasn't the only YouTuber at the event though, with a whole army of creators turning up to support the category and cheer along who ever picked up the coveted trophy. Our Senior Editor Hollie was invited down to the event (you can see her snaps below!) and was able to spot the following YouTubers milling about and having a whale of a time; Lucy and Lydia, FreddyMyLove, Sabrina, Jim Chapman (ofc!), Just Jodes, ViviannaDoesMakeup, Amelia Liana, Fleur De Force, Estee LaLonde, Pixiwoo, Katie Snooks, Becca Rose, Lily Pebbles and Leanne Lim-Walker! It officially sounds like the best night-out ever.
