We the Unicorns

We love the fact the Teen Choice awards now include a ton of Internet categories (seriously, why haven't they done a Favourite Internet Cat category by now?) and we're always delighted when the winners are announced. This year proved no different, from Zoella collecting the fashion/beauty award to Kian Lawley winning the Choice YouTuber award, fans voted in their thousands for their favourites.

But who really should have won? We The Unicorns give our low-down on the stars who we think got snubbed. Controversial!

Our winners:

Web Star (Female) : Grace Helbig

For her dedication, for keeping it varied and for teaching us how to be (slightly ridiculous) grown ups.

Web Star (Male) : Joey Graceffa

Because it's been a tough year for Joey and he's opened up on his channel more than ever. From battling with his mother's alcohol issues to coming out, he's got more balls than most.

Web Star (Comedy) : Lily Singh

For this video alone which we've probably watched 4,000 times by now.

Web Star (Comedy) : Tori Kelly

Because she's been doing the YouTube thing for 8 years and she's still only 22. And because "Should've Been Us" is one of our favourite tracks if the year.

Web Star (Fashion And Beauty) : Andrea Brooks

Because we've never seen anyone rock a bright pink lip as well as Andrea.

Viner: Lele Pons

Because no-one seems to understand #GirlProblems like Lele.

YouTuber: Bethany Mota

For giving us all the DIY videos we'll ever need, for having an awesome singing voice and for nearly hitting 10 million subscribers.
