Vloggers Narrowly Avoid Jail For This Stupidly Dangerous Stunt

These YouTubers ignored warnings and risked death at the Grand Prismatic Spring

Four YouTubers have narrowly avoided legal punishment for wandering onto a protected area of Yellowstone National Park. Charles Ryker Gamble, Alexey Andriyovych Lyakh, Justis Cooper Price-Brown, and Parker Heuser (all travel vloggers) were filmed wandering onto the Grand Prismatic Spring, ignoring tons and tons of warning signs in the process. Why is this a big deal? Well, not only is the area extremely fragile and environmentally important, it's also boiling hot and if they had fallen through the crust, they would have instantly been immersed in boiling water - which would have ended, shall we say, not spectacularly. 


A bystander caught them in the act.


Reaction from the public was overwhelmingly negative, with many people lashing out at the vloggers for endangering this sensitive environmental site and their own lives. These YouTube comments on a video of them sum up what they did wrong:
