Emma Greer Dibiase had been openly battling cancer for some time.

There was some terribly sad news this past weekend. Emma Greer Dibiase, a popular Viner who had been locked in a public battle with cancer, passed away at the age of 16. Her boyfriend Lucas (also a well known viner) had been chronicling her last days:

He posted this, shortly after she passed:

Emma dibiase, to me, was the biggest influence in my entire life. Emma dibiase showed me genuine love, a feeling that some may not even achieve in a full lifetime, and she gave it to me at the early age of 15. She showed me how to love physically and mentally. She gave me perspective, showing me what is really important in life. (Loving others) She's given me ultimate peace, by choosing me to be the lucky person to receive her full love, and me achieving this peace by giving her my full genuine love and always always ALWAYS fighting with her 100% through the way. She has also given me true pain, helping me understand what others emotions are exactly, and knowing so much more through pain. (I've honesty learned so much from pain) And she's showed me true, true, true happiness. I would say she has changed me in many ways, but she's literally changed me in every single little way. She has changed every single little cell in my body. I am forever permanently changed for the better. Emma, I love you. Forever and ever and ever, I love you.
