YouTubers React To Trump Revoking Protection For Trans Children

The news has sent shockwaves around the LGBTQ+ community on YouTube.
In the latest controversial decision by US President Donald Trump, certain legal frameworks have been removed which were designed to protect trans children and those outside the gender binary.
Under President Obama, the Departments of Justice and Education issued instructions to schools across the US saying that they must respect the gender identities of transgender students and allow them access to use the bathrooms that fit with their identity. The instructions have now been withdrawn.
As a result, it will now be up to individual states to make a decision on anti-discrimination laws and to choose themselves whether students should be made to use bathrooms and lockers regardless of it contradicts their identity.
The move has caused mixed opinions across the globe and the majority of YouTubers have come out against the decision and offered support to young trans people who may be affected.
