YouTube's subscription service has finally come to the UK
YouTube Premium is finally out in the UK!
The new subscription service from YouTube, which boasts ad-free video viewing among other exciting new features, hit the UK today.
As well as ad-free videos, signing up to YouTube Premium gives you access to exclusive original programming, the ability to download content to watch offline and access to YouTube Music, YouTube's answer to music streaming platform Spotify.

YouTube are offering a three-month free trial for YouTube premium, meaning you can enjoy ad-free videos without parting with your dosh. To sign up, head to YouTube and click your profile pic in the top right corner. Head to "Paid memberships" to sign up.
How much does YouTube Premium cost?
After your free trial, the subscription will cost you £11.99/month. You can access YouTube Music on its own for £9.99.
What originals are on YouTube Premium right now?
The first two episodes of F2 Finding Football are currently live. The show takes viewers and celebrity guests on a football world-tour to explore the beautiful game, with Episode one based in Argentina and featuring A$AP Rocky teaming up with the F2 to create a tango, trap tekkers mash-up and test their skills at gambetta. Episode two takes the duo to Japan to create a game show with Steve Aoki and learn the ancient game of Kemari.
Episode one of The Sidemen Show is also available, with extreme challenges from the ultimate action hero, Steve-O, in Morocco. One half reality, one half drama, and three halves mayhem the show comes from world-renowned YouTube creators The Sidemen. Future episodes will see Nicole Scherzinger battle her evil twin and Bear Grylls push the group to their survival limits.
