YouTube Has Finally Punished Logan Paul, But Do You Think It's Enough?

YouTube has rolled out a series of punishments for the star. But what do you make of them?
YouTube has finally done something, anything, to deal with Logan Paul. After releasing a long overdue statement in which they efffectively patted themselves on the back for doing nothing, the company has finally taken substantive steps in response to his behaviour.
As I'm sure you've heard, Logan was the subject of massive backlash after filming a dead body within the infamous Japanese 'suicide forest'. The video drew condemnation from YouTubers, viewers and even a Japanese suicide prevention charity. Logan then had to increase security at his home due to the fury of the reaction. This was all compounded by the fact that it emerged that Logan's entire trip to Japan had been massively disrespectful.
What has YouTube done?
According to Polygon, YouTube has stated that they are not going ahead with a YouTube Red movie that Logan Paul was supposed to star in. The film is called The Thinning: New World Order and is the sequel to 2016's YouTube Red movie, The Thinning, which was apparently a thing.
A YouTube representative also told to Polygon that Logan has been removed from Google’s top tier preferred ad program.
A YouTube representative said: “In light of recent events, we have decided to remove Logan Paul’s channels from Google Preferred. Additionally, we will not feature Logan in season 4 of ‘Foursome’ and his new Originals are on hold."
