Can you escape your house in two minutes?
In the past we've celebrated YouTubers for their constant and tireless work with charities and non-profit organisations. And now they've smashed it out of the park once more with this beautiful and thought-provoking PSA about home fire safety awareness.
Featuring iconic stars from the world of YouTube and Vine such as GloZell, Brittany Furlan and Frankie Grande, their message is supported by What's Trending, iHeartRadio, The Charity Project and most importantly the Red Cross to convey a very important truth about the threat of home fires.
By donating money towards the 2Steps2Minutes organisation, you can be entered into a draw for a bunch of truly fantastic prizes such as the opportunity to meet Matthew Santoro, spending a day on set with Joey Graceffa and even winning a trip to Playlist Live with Bart Baker!
However, these stars aren't just offering their free time and influential voices, they're working with an organisation trying to spread one of the most horrifying stats we've ever seen: American Red Cross says that roughly SEVEN lives are claimed by a house fire every single day.
The co-founder for the project, Shira Lazar, spoke about her time working on the PSA; “From day one, What’s Trending has been committed to social-good programming and bringing the influencer community together to serve as a catalyst for improving the world around us".
