The word 'prank' has lost all meaning

WKMG, an Orlando television station reports that a 22-year-old YouTuber named Dillion Burch has been jailed for three days for a shooting 'prank' he attempted to pull off at Walt Disney World.

Birch went around the Contemporary Resort in WDW, telling guests that there was an active shooter in the park (there wasn't) so that he could film their reactions for his YouTube channel.

Burch reportedly faced charges of disturbing the peace and disorderly intoxication. WKMG states that Burch pleaded no contest to the charges, before being jailed.

This is the latest incident in a seemingly never-ending escalation of YouTube 'pranks'. Last year, a woman was jailed for accidentally killing her boyfriend, when they took part in a stunt where she shot him from point blank range with a desert eagle handgun, while he held a large book in front of his chest to try and stop the bullet. At the time, we called this death, the inevitable consequence of YouTube's toxic culture of always needing to be make the 'craziest' video.
