Hear the brand new language right here!
Fictional languages are a big deal when it comes to movies: Star Trek - Klingon, Lord of the Rings - Elvish, Avatar - Na'vi. So with the new Star Wars movie arriving today, it's time to bone up on the newest alien language to hit the theatres - YouTuber?!
21 months ago, Sara Maria Forsberg uploaded a video about 'What Languages Sound Like To Foreigners'. The video was a viral success practically overnight and it caught the attention of JJ Abrams up in LucasFilms' Tower, who contacted Sara immediately for help creating the new alien language in The Force Awakens.
Watch the original video below of her speaking gibberish, and just remember that it managed to get her a job in Hollywood!
Based on secrecy surrounding the newest Star Wars epic, Sara was unable to tell anyone else (including her mum) about her newest job! Speaking in an interview she admits that, "keeping the secret has been horrible, because it would have been nice when promoting your new career to tell people 'Hey, I worked on the Star Wars movie', but I had to just humbly wait".
Sara's capacity for languages is phenomenal and we hope we see more of her incredible work in Hollywood for many more years to come!
