We the Unicorns

By Hollie-Anne Brooks

One moment you're watching a Tanya Burr tutorial and the next it's four hours later and you're working your way through the entire Pixiwoo back catalogue. We know the feeling. But what happens when you're in need of some new guys to follow? That's where we come in.

Everyone and their uncle seems to have an opinion on beauty vloggers like Zoella and it can often mean there's some huge talent being overlooked so we've listed our top five favourite beauty YouTubers right now. Sorry in advance for all the haulin' you're gonna want to do.

1. Katie Snooks

Katie recently took the plunge and became a full time YouTuber, signing straight to the same management as the likes of Zoella and Lily Pebbles. A veteran blogger, we used to read Katie's blog way back in the day. Uploading a new video every week, Katie focuses on fashion and lifestyle content as well as beauty. PS/ Prepare for hair goals. Seriously.

2. Prince of Vanity

Marc Zapanta is one of the select few male beauty vloggers out there and we were so happy when we first discovered him thanks to Pixiwoo's Daily Mix Beauty Bootcamp Series. Marc has an incredible talent and all of the sass. If you watch one thing, be sure to see one of his His & Hers Makeup Tutorials which show how a look can work for both sexes.

3. Lana

In just 18 months, American vlogger Lana has over 200K subscribers and her channel is growing at a rapid speed. Mixed in with her chatty vlogs and tag videos are some great beauty hauls and skincare routines. Lana recently teamed up with British YouTuber Fleur De Force for a UK/US swap that made us want to go shopping SO bad. Make sure you stay tuned to the end of Lana's videos, she has a bit of a special way of saying goodbye...

4. LoveLaughAndMakeup

Professional make-up artist Sabrina is basically flawless. If you love a good Primark haul, a smokey eye tutorial and like your YouTubers super chatty then this is the channel for you. Having launched her channel back in 2011, Sabrina how has over 4.5 million views on her channel, which is pretty good going considering she does it alongside her full time job.

5. Harry Makes It Up

Celebrity make-up artist Harriet Hadfield is the talent behind channel Harry Makes It Up. Harriet has worked with everyone from Rita Ora, Charli XCX and most recently on Foxes' video for Body Talk.
