Dan has *finally* announced his return and teased new content...

Dan Howell has announced he is coming back with new "content" after announcing his appearance as a featured creator at VidCon US.

Patient fans have been waiting for some time for Daniel to reappear after taking some time out from YouTube following the Interactive Introverts world tour did he with Phil Lester last year.

The last video he posted on his main channel, a highlights video from a show in London, was posted in June 2018. There was a little more activity on Dan and Phil's gaming channel for a while, although they stopped uploading videos to that five months ago.

But in a tweet from the official VidCon account, it was announced that Dan will be heading to the event as a Featured Creator. And if that wasn't good enough, Phil will be heading there too!

As you probably know, VidCon is the world's largest celebration of digital video & online creators. This year will mark its 10th Anniversary. The event is happening on July 10-13 in Anaheim, CA.

Other creators already announced include David Dobrik, Emma Chamberlain, Jackscepticeye, Jessie Paege, Joey Graceffa and perhaps most notably, Tana Mongeau, who will return one year on after TanaCon, a rival event she set up after VidCon refused to invite her as a Featured Creator.

There's no word yet on what Dan's new content will look like, or whether it will be making it solo or reuniting with Phil Lester, but either way it's nice to see Dan get back in the YouTube saddle.
