Cupcakke sparked concern after she tweeted that she was about to commit suicide. TW: Suicide

Creator and musician Elijah Daniel has seemingly confirmed that rapper Cupcakke is safe in hospital after it appeared that she was about to take her own life.

Cupcakke (real name Elizabeth Eden Harris) sparked alarm on the 7th January, when she tweeted: "im about to commit suicide".

Elijah was one of many people instantly concerned by the tweet, and who reached out to try and make sure CupcakKe was okay. Others included Shane Dawson and Kingsley, as well as many of Elizabeth's fans.

Elijah tweeted out: "Anyone who knows elizabeth please please please check on her my texts to her sent green idk if her phone is off but if you have her address please check on her ???????"

He appeared to be having trouble getting hold of Elizabeth or someone close to her, tweeting:

"i tried every number i have for elizabeth and her management/booking/agents and i reached out to her mom and mutual friends idk who else to try but i will keep y’all updated plz tell me if u guys have any updates :/"

He then updated followers: "just got off the phone with Chicago PD they’re looking for Elizabeth right now they’ve received several calls but they think they’ll be able to use her number to find her address i will keep y’all updated 💜"

Elijah then stated that he had managed to get through to the appropriate authorities:

"UPDATE: Chicago Police got to Elizabeth’s place and she has been taken to a hospital. I don’t have any further information beyond that, but will update when i do."

Elijah then provided some seemingly good news when he tweeted: "UPDATE: Police not able to give me anymore details other than Elizabeth is OKAY and at the hospital 💜 "

We will update this story as more information becomes available. We wish all the best to Elizabeth, her loved ones and her fans.
