Gigi Gorgeous Is Getting Dragged For Sharing This Super Insensitive Video

Gigi Gorgeous has found herself in hot water for the second time in weeks after posting a video to YouTube which many have said is insulting to those struggling to make ends meet.
Earlier this week, Gigi Gorgeous shared a video to YouTube entitled, "I Wear Walmart For A Week"
In the video, Gigi explains that, because she's been "all about the gowns and the glitz and the glamour" as of late, she wanted to "challenge" herself to "bring it back to basics" by wearing clothes from WallMart for a whole week. Admitting that she's never actually been to a WallMart before, Gigi embarks on her quest to slum it with a shopping trip at the popular American store.
So brave, so strong.
However, soon after it was uploaded to YouTube, a number of fans began calling Gigi out for her behaviour in the video. Between saying "beggars can't be choosers" while picking out clothes in a store where, y'know, people actually do have to pick out clothes, and telling a cashier "this isn't your dream job" as he serves her, many viewers felt as though Gigi (who is pretty darn wealthy) was making a mockery of people who shop for clothes at WalMart. She ends the video by challenging her (usually not super wealthy) viewers to try shopping at Walmart for a week too - which did not go down too well.
Watch the video below:
One viewer who shops at Walmart called Gigi's video "hurtful," while another described the video as "rude." Referring to the challenge Gigi set viewers at the end of the video, a viewer commented, "I've been doing this challenge for 21 years and I'm not ashamed."
Gigi hasn't commented on the backlash. But considering this is the second video in less than a month to be called out for being insensitive to those who are less well off, we can't help but think that trolling might be a new content strategy for the YouTuber.
