Students are facing punishment after Jake Paul challenged them to promote his merch at school.

On Tuesday, the YouTuber told his young following to complete the "chalkboard challenge," which involved writing his merchandise website address on school chalkboards in exchange for a reward.

"You're going to go to your school and you're going to write: FanJoy dot C-O backslash Jake Paul," he instructed students."You're going to write that on your guys' whiteboards or chalkboards." Jake promised to follow fans who completed the "chalkboard challenge" as a thank you.

But unfortunately, Jake Paul's #ChalkboardChallenge has reportedly landed a number of kids in trouble

Fans have said on Twitter that they've been punished for taking part in the challenge.

In response to one student revealing they got in trouble for taking part, Jake replied, "slay".

Jake Paul has faced a tough week elsewhere, after three key members of Team 10 all quit the group.
