There have been allegations that several young women were drugged at the party
Jake Paul hosted a house party earlier this month, which is now the subject of a police investigation, after it was alleged that a number of young women were drugged at the event.
TubeFilter reports that the mother of one of the party’s attendees was the first to raise the alarm. She wrote in a post in a private, local area Facebook group that her daughter, reportedly in her early 20s:
“Ended up in the hospital with eight other girls who had been drugged and ended up at West Hills hospital incoherent... Something was put in their drinks. The girls were all half naked and were unable to walk or talk. They were made to sign a disclaimer at the door. I’m sharing this in hopes that you will talk to your teens and young adults. I’m sharing this in hopes to help someone. I will be reporting this to the authorities.”
People also reports that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated that:
“A possible single occurrence of unwillful impairment related to a party attended on May 4. Detectives are in the beginning stages of information gathering for the incident.”
Jake Paul himself has not yet been mentioned or implicated in the incident, but his lawyer told TMZ in a statement that:
“We take this claim very seriously, and are working with authorities to make absolutely sure we do our part to uncover the truth.”
The event was a 22nd birthday party for the musician Desiigner, who decided to hold the celebration at Jake Paul's house (for some reason). Guests at the celebration included Chris Brown, Cameron Dallas, Bella Thorne and Lamar Odom.
