YouTubers Jake Paul & Pewdiepie

The YouTube subscription service has tapped Jake as the star of one of their biggest shows.

PewDiePie's moment of YouTube Red glory came to a sudden end earlier this year after the controversial YouTuber was accused of racism, which led YouTube to cancel his horror series "Scare PewDiePie". Luckily for YouTube Red, there's a brand new controversial internet personality who's poised to take his place: Jake blimmin' Paul, kids.

Much like PewDiePie's series "Scare PewDiePie", "Fight Of The Living Dead: Paradise Calls" is basically about scaring the living daylights out of various creators. The series' first season debuted to over 10,000,000 views, which is pretty impressive considering YouTube Red's longstanding struggle to establish itself. Will bringing on the Team 10 Leader help push the show even further?

"Fight of the Living Dead: Paradise Calls" will also star creators Hannah Stocking, Wengie, Anwar Jibawi, De’arra Taylor and Ken Walker, Karina Garcia, Eric Ochoa, Anthony Trujillo and Miles Jai. On the show, which hits YouTube Red on 31st October, the creators will battle it out to become the last two to survive a zombie apocalypse. Watch the trailer below:
