Jake Paul has been hit with a HUGE lawsuit for allegedly trashing his former rental home.

According to TMZ, the company that owns the house Jake Paul lived in with several members of Team 10 between May 2016 and December 2017 has claimed that Jake didn't properly explain his reasons for moving into the house, and caused damage to the property while he was there. They are demanding $2.5 million - far more than the $40,000 security deposit that was originally paid.

Jake Paul's team have challenged the amount stated in the lawsuit.

In a statement to TMZ, one of Jake's representatives said, "There's no allegation regarding the actual amount of damages other than the request for punitive damages. That's because the damages were minimal compared to the amount they're asking. They say they want punitive damages because they say they didn't know Jake would use the house for his pranks, but the original lease states it's for Jake's personal use."

The Rules Of Living In The Team 10 House Are Next Level Outrageous

They added, "After more than a year, when they presumably would have known all about the pranks, instead of asking him to leave they raised the rent and increased the security deposit. Something doesn't add up."

A "War Zone"

The house in question became infamous in 2017 after Jake's neighbours from the area threatened him with legal action, claiming he had turned the neighbourhood into a "war zone" with neighbours claiming that an elderly resident in the neighbourhood "nearly died from smoke inhalation" due to Jake's pranks. After multiple fire safety violations the city of LA banned Jake from vlogging from inside the house, prompting him and the rest of Team 10 to move house at the end of 2017.
