The plot thickens…

Things are really blowing up in the YouTube community right now and it's becoming a tangled web of allegations, deceit and supplement betrayal.

People think Jeffree Star has taken down James Charles' merch store

As you probably already know, James Charles and Tati Westbrook have become enemies and it all stemmed from James Charles promoting SugarBearHair vitamins at Coachella – a rival to Tati's supplement brand Halo Beauty.

James apologised, though, insisting his decision to promote them was purely because of a mishap in which he urgently needed extra artist passes. Now James' BFF Nikita Dragun has come to his defence, but she's kind of made it worse…

Nikita shared some messages from the day on Twitter, with the caption: "heard a situation needed some clarification. my friend was in an emergency and texted me in the moment... unfortunately since @dragunbeauty used all of our marketing budget on the fantasy, i connected him with sugar bear. nothing shady."

In the private texts, James literally begs Nikita for help getting the passes from SugarBearHair because he was getting "attacked" in the VIP area. In exchange, he would promote them on his Instagram Story. Within one minute the company then agreed and Nikita connected her SugarBearHair contact with James – just like the story he told Tati.

However, after the texts were shared, YouTube channel Tea Spill claimed that they had also spoke to James about what went down at Coachella and the conversation didn't exactly match what he'd said... awks.

Tea Spill tweeted, alongside screenshots of the conversation they'd had with James: "Alright so... James texted Nikita asking if she could get him a SBH sponsorship but he told me that he was being mobbed and sugar bear reached out to HIM.. sister lied to me."

Some things didn't quite add up for people on Twitter either, with some wondering how the whole text exchange went down in only two minutes.

Nikita was even accused of posting fake screenshots – which she denied.

Whatever the real tea is, James' reputation is continuing to remain on rocky ground. He has now lost three million subscribers, while Tati's number of subscribers has only sky rocketed. Meanwhile, straight guys are now exposing James' private DMs to them and speaking about how he had pressured them once they told him about their sexuality.
