Shawn Mendes is creeped out by James Charles and it's a bit hilarious.
Everyone's fave Canadian singer-songwriter, Shawn Mendes, and the sassy YouTube beauty queen that is James Charles have had an interesting relationship. James loves him, but it's looking like it might be unrequited. Poor James.
On an Instagram Live video, Shawn was having a ball, and interacting with his fans. It seemed like everything was fine, until the stream ended abruptly, without even a goodbye. Fans are speculating that James Charles is the reason for this. It appears that in the stream's live comments feed, James commented 'can u juggle me like that', and you can see Shawn look to the area of the screen the comment would be before ending the stream.
I'm sure we're all guilty of a thirsty comment here and there on social media, but according to the Twitter account @becauseihadyou, this isn't the first time it has happened. They said after a secret album session, Shawn said he dislikes James because he consistently comments 'weird shit' on his posts. Which is fair enough.

Some fans have defended Shawn's decision.
U guys is not about the sex, is about the harassment. he’s done it multiple times on multiple posts. this is one case of many. Is about a public figure that constantly sexualize another one to make poeple see it. Plus he didn't call out anyone, those are all assumptions.— Giuli (@inmybloodb) October 4, 2018
Other fans have defended James, saying he does this all the time as a joke, and that it's nothing to worry about.
lol james is known for droppin comments like these. why yall shook— Tyler Foster (@Tennessee_Ty) October 4, 2018
Just for context, here are some things James has tweeted about Shawn just this year.
@ShawnMendes hi daddy i see that you’re active and just wanted to remind u that ur a legend— James Charles (@jamescharles) January 27, 2018
These are seemingly harmless, but it's not hard to see how getting this constantly from one person may make Shawn feel a little uncomfortable. Do you think James is in the wrong? Or do you think it's a coincidence that Shawn ended his stream at that point? Let us know!
