Joe and friends got real about feeling down on Blue Monday

Joe Sugg, Caspar Lee, Hussain Manawer, Oli White, Josh Pieters and Jack Maynard have come together in a new video from Mikey Pearce to talk about mental health.

Mikey released the video on Blue Monday, the day which is commonly considered to be 'the most depressing day of the year' due to being:

1. In January.

2. Cold.

3. Dark.

4. Tax season.

5. Just before the January payday (so everyone is broke).

Basically, it sucks.

Mikey asked his mates to talk about hard times they have suffered themselves, in order to 'get a conversation going' and show people that they are not alone when suffering. Each of them talks about one moment where they felt particularly down.

Joe Sugg talks about his long struggles with feeling self conscious about his skin, "particularly spots on (his) skin". He says that he used to worry a lot about what people thought of his skin and his appearance, but came to learn that people don't care or even notice those sorts of things as much as you worry they do.

The other guys talk about a variety of issues such as struggling on YouTube, being red-headed and Jack's 2017 backlash and subsequent removal from 'I'm A Celebrity'. Mikey himself talks about his struggles with his weight and his self-image.
