John Green's 'Looking For Alaska' Is Getting A TV Series

John's hot streak continues

Creator and author John Green's his first novel 'Looking For Alaska' is being turned a series at Hulu.

The show will have eight episodes, with the pilot being written by Josh Schwartz, who created the hit show The O.C. He is also showrunner. John is of course well known for his sucess on YouTube, as well as his other novels 'The Fault In Our Stars' and 'Paper Towns'.

The story is told through teenager Miles "Pudge" Halter, as he enrolls in a boarding school to try to gain a deeper perspective on life. He meets one student in particular, Alaska Young, who he falls in love with as she guides him through his own "labyrinth of suffering." After her unexpected death, he is forced to work through his internal "labyrinth of suffering" himself as he and his close friends attempt to uncover the truth behind Alaska's death.
