X you truly changed me

Lil' Tay has broken her social media silence to remember Florida rapper XXXTentacion after his death earlier this week.

XXXTentacion's death has divided fans, followers and observers, some of whom have focussed on his musical talent as others speak out about his history of violence and alleged domestic abuse.

Posting a screen of a FaceTime conversation with him, Lil' Tay wrote, "X you truly changed me ❤️ you were there for me when everyone wanted me to fail, you were there to give me advice, you were there.

"As a father figure, when I don’t have one, you were here, FaceTiming me and calling me for hours when I’m down, 3 hours ago you announced the Charity event we were going to throw, we had everything setup, I can’t believe this, the evil in the world, this isn’t good bye."

She also posted screenshots of a conversation with XXXTentacion in which he advises her to put on a charity event.

The question of who was allowing a nine-year-old to FaceTime XXXTentacion in the first place remains unanswered.

Lil' Tay has been quiet on social media as of late, after a video of her smoking hookah emerged online. The controversial pint-sized star's mystique has slowly unravelled over the past three months, however publicist Diomi Cordero told BuzzFeed that he was "rebranding Lil' Tay."
