Liza Koshy's Met Gala Dress Costs WAY More Than People Think

It's the fashion party of the year, so when it comes to the Met Gala, the look is everything. Even for the journalists and interviewers in attendance, this is the time to step it up.
Liza Koshy, who was interviewing celebs on the red carpet, was no exception. But despite looking pretty lovely as far as we're concerned, some naysayers felt that Liza's outfit looked a little... high street.

But let's get into the tea for a second
Liza was there to interview guests, so if she'd gone in full Catholic eleganza extravaganza it would have been a little inappropriate. You didn't see any other journalists dressed like someone dipped the Virgin Mary in glitter, did you? No.
While Liza's Met Gala outfit was more understated than the likes of Rihanna or Madonna, it certainly wasn't "Forever 21," as some have said. It's designer, and a lot more expensive than people are giving her credit for.
So what was Liza Koshy wearing at the Met Gala 2018?
Liza wore a sheer black Alessandra Rich dress, with a Peter Pan-collar and rhinestone accessories.
How much did Liza's Met Gala dress cost?
According to Mytheresa.com, an online retailer that sells Liza Koshy's Met Gala dress for £1575, the dress is "crafted in Italy from romantic black lace."
"The semi-sheer finish is tempered by a smooth lining slip dress, while dazzling crystal buttons add ornate detail"
