“If I’m being quite honest with you, I’m the fastest YouTuber. I’m the fastest entertainer on the planet.”

Logan Paul recently gave a TV interview and, well, it’s quite something.

Appearing on Fox Business, Logan Paul gave a strange and nonsensical interview in which he claims, among other things, that he’s the “fastest man on the planet”, that he’s “a ghost”, an “ex-controversial YouTuber” and, bizarrely, that he has “pink eye”. We’re not too sure what’s going on either…

On a clip of the interview that was shared on Twitter, Logan starts the interview by claiming: “If I’m being quite honest with you, I’m the fastest YouTuber. I’m the fastest entertainer on the planet.”

When the host asks him if he’s talking about running, he clarifies that he is, adding: “I could be the quickest man on the planet. I’m everywhere, baby. I’m everywhere and I’m nowhere. I’m like a ghost… Yeah, I’m betting $100,000 that I’m the fastest man on the planet. I’m the fastest man on the planet.”

Things get weirder when next the host brings up his controversial past, including his the video he posted last year of an alleged suicide victim in a forest in Japan. “I have to stop you right there,” Logan interjects. You used the word ‘controversial’... Just so you know I am an ex-controversial YouTuber. That’s no longer me”.

Having made approximately $14.5 million dollars last year, chat then turns to Logan’s finances. Despite having made more money in one year than most of us will in an entire lifetime, things aren’t looking so great apparently, with Logan saying: “I will say, my expenses just surpassed my income for the first time ever. I just sat with my financial manager, he told me that. I’m definitely going downhill from here.”

And in perhaps the most bizarre exchange of all, when the host asks Logan if spending money that way makes him nervous, he replies: “Yeah absolutely, I’m terrified. I think it’s the beginning of the end. I’m uncomfortable with myself, you know? I also have pink eye! It’s not contagious. No it is, there’s a two week incubation period.” Erm...

So what’s going on here? We can’t tell if Logan Paul is genuinely acting this strange or whether the whole thing is a joke… or whether it’s actually both of those things.

Logan did address the weird interview on Twitter however, saying: “today i told fox business news i had pinkeye on live television & now im blasting the greatest showman soundtrack on a flight back to LA, basically im almost in final form”.

Honestly, we're just as confused as you are...
