"We can all learn a lot from this growth"

Logan Paul has received an unlikely message of support from Netflix heartthrob Noah Centineo.

You'll probably know Noah from teen rom-coms like The Kissing Booth and To All The Boys I've Loved Before, both of which were released last summer and launched Noah's career as a teen heartthrob. He also has a mildly entertaining Twitter presence for which he tweets vapid platitudes like "If a tree falls in the woods...if I didn't post on social media" and "Truth is hidden but it does not hide." Ok then!

So how did this unlikely pairing come about? Well, Logan took to Twitter to reflect on the last 12 months, during which he filmed a dead body and posted it on the internet, received near-universal condemnation, carried out a short-lived apology PR campaign, made a lot of money fighting KSI in a boxing match and then ended up on the Forbes richest YouTubers list.

He tweeted: "2018. you son of a bitch. What a year. So many lessons learned, so much GROWTH as a human being, i GUARANTEE this will be the most important year of my life... i could go on and on. Point is, we did it. Chapter closed. Dear 2019... Let’s get this fkn bread"

Logan tweeted this on December 31st.

A whole 16 days later, Noah Centineo – presumably scrolling through Logan's tweets because he loves them so much? – tweets: "Beautiful man. It’s not just about overcoming adversity, it’s about overcoming yourself in the face of adversity. We can all learn a lot from this growth." He's since deleted the tweet.

Perhaps predictably, Noah received a big backlash for seemingly supporting Logan.

So, do you think Noah was being serious, or is this a joke gone badly wrong?
