And his subscriber count is growing like CRAZY.
Logan Paul is officially on Twitch, and is gaining followers like nobody's business.
The social media behemoth - whose switch from Vine to YouTube helped contribute to a shift in content culture that favoured high-octane, irresponsible stunts that alienate everyone except young teenagers who should really have better role models - has just infiltrated Twitch. But while his arrival on the popular game live-streaming platform might be good news for his army of young fans, many established Twitchers are pretty peeved at the news.
Calling out Logan's poor track record on YouTube, high-profile Twitcher Rod Breslau Tweeted, "you manipulated young kids for your content... we don't want you on Twitch." Another high-profile Twitch gamer, Katie Peters, implored Twitch to "think carefully" about letting Logan Paul use the platform.
Dear @LoganPaul,— Rod Breslau (@Slasher) March 19, 2018
You make fun of suicide, you clickbait videos including recently @Ninja, you manipulate young kids for your content, and I am absolutely positive you are straight garbage at video games. We don’t want you on Twitch. Keep the trash away.
.@Twitch: please carefully think about allowing Logan Paul a place on our platform.— KatiePetersPlays (@PlayKatiePlay) March 19, 2018
Consider the future of Twitch and what path you want it to take.
It wasn't just Twitch personalities that hit back at the news, with many fans and viewers also taking to Twitter to vent their frustration at Logan coming to Twitch. But those who are angry about Logan's latest career move should be careful - Twitch has very stringent guidelines that punish those who are seen to "intimidate, degrade, abuse, or bully others, or create a hostile environment for others," both on and off the platform.
How many Twitch followers does Logan have
Like it or not, Logan is now on Twitch - and his popularity growth on the platform is as rapid as you'd expect, with the YouTuber gaining 100,000 subscribers before "in a few hours."
