Marimar Quiroa is the epitome of what YouTube should be.

As a platform designed to allow for individuality and the ability to create the specific content only you want to make, YouTube is fundamental when it comes to expressing everything that makes us unique. This is exactly what 21-year-old makeup enthusiast and Zumba instructor Marimar Quiroa does on her beauty channel, Gorda66, with her incredibly inspiring makeup and fashion vlogs.

Marimar, who was born with cystic hygroma, lives with a cyst in both her mouth and neck, meaning that she must breathe through a tube, eat through a tube in her stomach and communicate using only sign language. However, absolutely none of these things have stopped her from being an increasingly popular makeup and beauty YouTuber thanks to her tutorials and dazzling personality - which since 2012 have attracted over 110k subscribers and nearly 10 million views.

In an interview with Barcroft TV, Marimar explains that she started her YouTube channel to inspire other people to celebrate self-acceptance; "People type their comments after viewing my videos, they tell me I'm beautiful and love my makeup". As an aspiring beauty school student and inspirational young lady, we thoroughly recommend subscribing to Marimar because she is truly redefining the way we talk and view lifestyle vloggers.
