Mark Ferris Was Actually Famous BEFORE YouTube
21 April 2016, 11:22
He has been in celebrity music videos and we have the screenshots to prove it.
Haven't you always wondered what your fave YouTubers did before they were famous? We already know Joe Sugg was a roof thatcher (ofc) and that PewDiePie was a hot dog seller, but why does Mark Ferris look so damn familiar? Whether he's hanging out with his BFF Zoella or filming another Storytime on his channel - we can't help but feel like we've seen him before. We're not alone with this de-ja-vu feeling, even his fans had picked up on it and it turns out we have seen him before, but not where you would expect.
Our new fave vlogger has, in fact, featured in the likes of Union J, The Wanted and Ellie Goulding's music videos as an extra. That's right, Mark was a low key star and we never even knew. Obviously, he wasn't centre stage with a microphone, but his growing number of subscribers managed to spot him in the background and Mark has had a lot of explaining to do, starting with, was it actually him? Turns out it was and we have the low down on his cameo appearances.
The Wanted - We Own The Night
Unfortunately, Mark never got to meet The Wanted; but good news - he got to stand on a bin in the middle of London instead.
Union J - Beautiful Life
According to Mark, the Union J boys were the some of the nicest people he's ever met. They were that nice he even looked longingly into the distance for them.
And let them blur his face out of shot.
He's now using his Union J cameo as an opportunity to say he's officially collaborated with George Shelley, we don't blame you Mark.

Ellie Goulding - Burn
He even got to rave with the real life Ellie Goulding. We are so jealous.
It seems as though we weren't the only eagled eyed ones, loads of Mark's fans took to the comments in all of the vids to help spot him.
Which of Mark's cameo appearances where your fave? Let us know in the comments.
