“I know we had our differences but today I just want to tell you congratulations”

PewDiePie has congratulated his longtime rival, Indian Production Company T-Series, after it fully overtook him to become the most subscribed YouTube channel in the world.

But he also couldn't resist taking a few jabs at the company as he accepted their victory. Felix posted a diss track called 'Congratulations' which touched on everything from their CEO’s alleged tax evasion to accusations that the company has colluded with the mafia - though he then adds: “for legal reasons that’s a joke”.

The video also features Roomie and David Brown, who created the song for Felix. At the end there is also a special cameo from MrBeast, the YouTuber who perhaps did the most out of anyone to help PewDiePie fend off T-Series for as long as he did - including holding up a 'subscribe to PewDiePie' sign at the 2019 Super Bowl.

T-Series describe themselves as:

"India's largest Music Label & Movie Studio, believes in bringing world close together through its music. T-Series is associated with music industry from past three decades, having ample catalogue of music comprising plenty of languages that covers the length & breadth of India. We believe after silence, nearest to expressing the inexpressible is Music. So, all the music lovers who believe in magic of music come join us and live the magic of music with T-Series."

MrBeast did have one more idea up his sleeve however...

Felix closed out with a thank you message to his fans, saying:

"through all the change & controversy, you've been by my side. there's no other army in the world I would rather give me watch time".
