A Clothing Brand Is Dragging Poppy For "Stealing" Designs From Them

The clothing company wrote a scathing Instagram post calling out Poppy and her team.
A well-known clothing company based in California have accused Poppy of stealing their ideas for her latest merch range.
Yesterday (July 12) Poppy unveiled a new line of jumpsuits on her merch store (retailing for $149.99). However, unisex clothing brand Big Bug Press are alleging Poppy bought a heavily discounted range of their jumpsuits from them and then, when they couldn't produce a new design for Poppy cheaply enough, sold on their jumpsuits for an inflated price.
In a lengthy and strongly-worded statement on their Instagram, the company write that "Poppy and their team ripped off our jumpsuits identically" and end it with telling Poppy and her team to "go fuck yourselves".
Soo!!! it seems @impoppy and their team ripped off our jumpsuits identically! LOL! They bought some steeply discounted jumpsuits from us months ago— then they asked us to make some jumpsuits for them for their tour to sell to customers. We couldn’t make them at a price that would be cheap enough for them so we said NO! Then they went ahead and stole our jumpsuit pattern exactly! i’m sure they’re also having it made in for a fraction of the price and now they’re profiting off of it. Go fuck yourselves. hope you had fun wearing our discounted jumpsuits for every single night of your tour and now you’re literally stealing from us. embarrassing.
It does look like Poppy's jumpsuits are from Big Bug Press however her line does include a Poppy logo on the front pocket and on the back.
At present, Poppy hasn't responded to the allegations, opting instead to tweet "I love my fans so much". We'll update this post as soon as Poppy makes a statement.
