Following the finale of his 'The Mind of Jake Paul' documentary, some fans have decided to 'cancel' Shane Dawson.

Following the almost TWO HOUR LONG finale of 'The Mind of Jake Paul', YouTuber-turned-documentary maker, Shane Dawson, has been cancelled by the internet.

After last night's episode of the documentary about the contentious YouTuber and Team 10 member, Jake Paul, fans started trending '#ShaneDawsonIsOverParty' after Shane failed to call him out on any of his previous racist language and behaviour. In the episode, Shane and Jake mainly chatted about Jake's controversies. And that's the problem - nothing was addressed. As close as Shane got to addressing Jake's racist comments was asking what happened with the Martinez twins, and even then, Shane appeared to excuse Jake's behaviour. Jake got more stick from Shane for being rude about teachers than for using racial slurs.

Clearly, this didn't sit well with viewers, who felt that Shane should have done a better job.

Then, it all got a whole lot worse when a fan called out Shane for giving Jake Paul a platform even though he's racist, and Shane told them to fuck off. Shane also liked tweets saying this fan deserved the hate they were getting for calling him out. His excuse was that he's released all this content for free and spent so long editing it, and that he was trying to help Jake, not just berate him.

Again, people were not here for it.

Despite all the backlash of the #ShaneDawsonIsOverParty, some fans have defended Shane.

Following the finale of the dramatic documentary, and his fair share of backlash, Shane has announced that he is taking some time off from YouTube for a while anyway, so who knows when we'll next see him.

Do you think people are being too harsh? Or do you think Shane needs to be called out on the aspects of Jake's life he skimmed over? Let us know.
