A heart-wrenching moment

Shane Dawson has been making a series of videos with Molly Burke, a really awesome YouTuber who has retinitis pigmentosa, a rare, degenerative eye disease that has left her almost entirely blind. The videos have been both entertaining and informative, but there was one stand-out moment in a recent video that was incredibly poignant and left Shane stunned and in tears.

During a chat about Molly's condition, Molly asks Shane why he never recorded an audiobook for his second book 'It Gets Worse' and explains that because there is no audio version, she has never been able to experience the book. She says that she loved his first book and is sad she can't hear the second.

Shane is visibly shocked upon hearing this, and you can see him processing the fact that for some people, audiobooks aren't a fun gimmick, they're literally the only way they can experience the book. Shane is incredibly apologetic and promises to read the book to Molly himself.

It's a really touching and important moment, and says a lot about the importance of making our world as accessible as possible to people of all needs.
