Shane's hotly anticipated new video seems to be coming along nicely
Shane Dawson has been drip-feeding information about his new documentary series. While the subject of the videos is currently unknown (although we have some pretty strong ideas), Shane has started to peel back the curtain a little into the creative process.
In a tweet to a fan, Shane commented that he and his creative team have "like 100 hours of footage" which is leading to some beefy editing time.
i have NO idea. we have like 100 hours of footage so expect to see me and @AndrewSiwicki looking like cavemen by the end of this edit 🧠🔥 https://t.co/5iiHvHMeg1

It seems like it's been a heavy shoot
Shane has been very clear that it has not been a walk in the park. It's not just the physical exhaustion of capturing all the footage, the documentary also seems to have taken an emotional toll on Shane. He said that: "I have to say i’ve never felt more drained, emotional, confused, excited, angry, yet creatively fulfilled in my life."
it’s the final night of filming for the series i’m working on and i have to say i’ve never felt more drained, emotional, confused, excited, angry, yet creatively fulfilled in my life hahaha it’s been a month of filming and i literally feel like my brains gonna burst 🤯 pic.twitter.com/FLR94rnvkX

Shane says he had 'a breakdown' while filming the documentary.
when i didn’t know the camera was on and had a breakdown about what this series is turning into. wish us luck! pic.twitter.com/OBZo27ybA8

Shane says it is the ever-expanding scope of the project that lead to his 'breakdown'.
it was supposed to be about a person, and then it became about a lot of people, and now it’s about everyone. hence my breakdown. haha 🤯🌀 https://t.co/9wYQwH7iDJ

Shane's new documentary series is easily the most anticipated upcoming video on YouTube. His previous videos in a similar vein about TanaCon and Jeffree Star have garnered tens of millions of views and this new video seems set to do the same. It's been yet another height of success for Shane and adds to his incredible YouTube career, which we examined in our recent article 'The Unstoppable Rise Of Shane Dawson'.
