"F*ck blaming girls for bad things that happen to them & inciting fear..."
Tana Mongeau has spoken out in defence of her ex-girlfriend Bella Thorne after she shared her own nudes after she was targeted by a hacker.
If you need a re-cap - earlier this week, Bella Thorne was targeted by a hacker who broke into her Twitter account and posted offensive tweets from her profile and then threatened to leak her nudes. Following the hack, Bella decided to take back control by releasing the photos herself.
Whoopi Goldberg then joined in the drama by criticising Bella for taking the photos in the first place. "If you’re famous, I don’t care how old you are. You don’t take nude pictures of yourself," Whoopi said on The View. "Once you take that picture, it goes into the Cloud and it’s available to any hacker who wants it, and if you don’t know that in 2019 that this is an issue, I’m sorry. You don’t get to do that."
Bella then saw the comments and replied in a tearful Instagram story, saying: "I'm not gonna lie, I wanna say that I feel pretty disgusting," she explained. "I feel pretty disgusting, Whoopi, knowing that everyone's seen my shit. And I just want to say that me watching this interview made me feel bad about myself. And I hope you're happy. I really do. I hope you're so fucking happy... You’re so crazy for thinking such terrible things on such an awful situation."
Tana Mongeau was quick to jump in and defend her ex Bella on Instagram, writing: "yo FUCK @whoopiegoldberg. fuck slut shaming. fuck blaming girls for bad things that happen to them & inciting fear. I love you @bellathorne whoopi I feel so sorry for you to have that mindset."
Bella and Tana previously dated for a year before announcing their break-up back in February, with Tana tweeting: “love her forever don’t get that twisted. she changed my life forever. don’t rly wanna talk on it.. there’s no negativity at all."
