Tanya's using her platform to fight for change
Tanya Burr is campaigning for greater access to period care for underprivileged young people today.
The YouTuber will attend and speak at the "Free Periods" protest in Richmond, a protest aimed at ending what the event organisers describe as "period poverty," by campaigning for all young people who get periods, who are also entitled to free school meals in the UK to be given free sanitary products. According to the protest's event page, "thousands of girls are missing school because they cannot afford sanitary care."
