VidCon will be shining a light on some of YouTube's earliest content creators to celebrate 10 years of the event.

2019's VidCon will mark the 10th anniversary of the YouTube event, and to celebrate, our fave OG YouTubers will be honoured as 'Founding Featuring Creators'. These creators are some of the earliest people on YouTube to go viral - did anyone say 'Chocolate Rain'?

These Featured Founding Creators (try saying that 10 times fast) are essentially just a specific group of the regular Featured Creators who run the panels and do all the meet and greets and fan interactions. We already have Shay Carl, Tay Zonday, Michael Buckley, Dave Days, Will Hyde, and the vlogbrothers/ VidCon organisers themselves, Hank and John Green confirmed, amongst 20 others. Some of these creators aren't even active on the site anymore. The full list of Featured Founding Creators can be found here.

As well as these legendary creators, to celebrate 10 years of VidCon, the event is also putting on 'throwback activations', but we don't really know what that means yet.

69 total Featured Creators have been announced so far, including the Founding creators. The overall lineup includes the likes of Emma Chamberlain, Hannah Hart, and Christine Sydelko.

With all this new and exciting information, fans are HYPED for next year's event.

We did also see one person who is hoping for another TanaCon.

VidCon 2019 is on July 10th to the 13th at the Anaheim Convention Centre, and if you're interested, tickets are available now.
